These dog(-people), they are very sensitive. If I kind of ignore them or work too hard and don’t pet them or talk to them, then they begin to be upset. Some are upset quietly – silent tears; some are loud. […] And if I still ignore them, then they go to the door, the gate, wanting to get out, wanting to go back to their other quarters – showing protest. “We are out of here. We don’t need to be here begging You.” Oh, man, such dog(-people). So sensitive! […] So, they just show me that, “We have somewhere to go. Not that we don’t have anywhere to go.” […]

How many are we here? One hundred or more? Must be more, right? (One sixty-one, Master.) One sixty-one? Oh, I’m lost. I prepared 100 red envelopes, so I don’t know what to do now. Hi, guys. Whoever you are. Hufa (dharma guard), come here please. What did you say, how many we have? One hundred? (One sixty-one.) No, no, not you. Yesterday, how many you told me? Did you give the number here? Oh, yeah. One moment. Oh, we have 186 envelopes! Miracle, miracle! OK. I give to the in-house first. And you don’t be jealous. (Yes.) Because they take the blow all the time. And you don’t. Anything happens, I “blow” them first. No, blow their nose. OK. So, how many are we? The in-house people. (Twenty-three.) Twenty-three now? Oh good, oh good. What’s that? Oh, here for me, right? OK. Come here. Or one of you bring the 23 (envelopes). OK, three of you. And the rest please pass on. If not enough, come back. If a lot, give it to me. Don’t cheat. And you bring one to every table, women first.

Each one, take one only, please. I’m not that rich. I want to help those who are more helpless than us. Understand that? (Yes.) You know, right? (Yes.) You do the same, right? (Yes.) So, good kids. One each. You got one each already? There is no romantic talk right now. We are in business, man. Money. Money makes the world go round. And we go round too. We have to go round. Never mind. They will have one anyway so give it to them. Yeah, give. How many people don’t have? Raise hands. Three more? One, two… Four more here. Go get four more from the big bag. Where is the bag now? Give me four more. That’s it. Everyone on this table has already? (Yes, Master.) Good then. Happy, prosperous business with your boss. Your boss is so difficult to please. Always something. “It’s not nice. That’s not good. No. Change it.” And we’ll still prepare some more for those who did not come; we don’t have enough today so I will prepare later. Take care. Prepare more for the people. Some people are still there maybe or not, I don’t know. Check how many. Thank you.

You OK guys? (Yes.) You have everything you need? (Yes.) Paper napkins? You’re happy with your work? (Yes.) You better be. It’s good. You know how it is when it comes to Supreme Master TV. Luckily I’m vegan and practice yoga or something. Forgive me. Forgive me then God forgives you. Actually, I have nothing against any of you personally. You understand, yeah? (Yes.) It’s just, we have to give the best service, from our hearts; no other motive. We have to be absolutely unconditional. Not only that, but full of love. That’s the only way we can work. OK, you like? You’re the oldest one, you have wisdom. Correct, what I said? (I have no hair.) But you have a big heart. Your heart is still there. Cheers, guys! Merry Christmas! Happy New Year! (Cheers, Master! Merry Christmas, Master!) Successful [Supreme Master] TV always. Go forward. (Yes! Always.) Go forward. (Yes!) (All the best to You, Master, too.) Ah! I need it. Thank you. (You have our support.)

This Aulacese (Vietnamese) kind of tight dress, it looks good but it’s not favorable when you’re eating. I had to eat a little bit with the Aulacese (Vietnamese) downstairs already and now I have to stuff all this in or not. No, I don’t. Wow, they even have (vegan) tarts. You see that? Strawberry and stuff. You have, no? (Not yet.) Oh, not yet. (Not yet, Master.) Then don’t look here. Don’t look here. What you don’t know doesn’t hurt. Alright, then the (vegan) soup has to go because otherwise my dress is bursting. Soup. Go, go, go, go. Thank you. Give it a try. Taste it. You try everything a little bit. If it’s too much, then you try a little bit only. But I doubt it. I doubt that’s it’s too much for you. You’ve been waiting for so long. Starving.

The Chinese people, including the Taiwanese (Formosan), they believe that you should be plump. They believe that if you’re fat, you bring luck. It’s logical. If you don’t have luck, how can you eat so much to get fat? The Chinese are very logical. In some of the African cultures, they also believe in round, plump women. They think it’s a kind of beauty. Me, I’m halfway, halfway there. I could do a little bit more and then I’d be a favorite in China and Africa. At least two countries will love me. Wow. It’s good, guys? Good food? (Yes.) (Very good.) I’m trying to catch up.

Tomorrow, you arrange another one for the rest of the Supreme Master TV team. Even though they are not working here. They’re not working upstairs or anything, but they are Supreme Master TV workers. Maybe they host once every century but they still count themselves as [Supreme Master] TV. They complained to me downstairs, “I’m [Supreme Master] TV, Master. I’m [Supreme Master] TV!,” they said. All of them have a card, very proudly showed to me, but I’m helpless. I can’t do anything. Thank you. ([Vegan] dumplings. Hot, hot dumplings.) Thank you. Thank you. I know. Thank you. (Thank You, Master.) Thank you. I need that. Thank you. All of you have this? (Yes, Master.) Oh, so no jealousy. Wow, wonderful. We have even red napkins. It’s a real Christmas. (Yes.) At least we eat well. I don’t know if you work well but you can eat for sure. Make sure you’re worth it. (Yes, Master.)

I don’t know tomorrow maybe we can arrange. I’m not sure if we have enough room. Tell them to make sure to have a few more tables if not enough. We have workers everywhere, that’s the problem. And retreat, they all come here demanding compensation. What’s all this talk about unconditional love and service? Useless. I talk to myself only. They capiche (understand) nothing. When it comes to Master and (vegan) food with Master, they know nothing anymore. Blind, deaf, dumb. No intelligence, no wisdom, nada (nothing). They were fighting downstairs with… (Master, this is Thai [vegan] sour sauce.) …with the best weapon women have – tears.

Oh, man. I know why all the men in the world succumb to their trap. Even I felt so bad. I felt so melted. When I see tears, I just melt. Somehow, there is some chemical in the tears that melts people. Even if you have an iron heart, it melts. Wow. This is the most powerful weapon. All men lose to that. OK. Then tomorrow I hope maybe if you can know how many people are left over, then tell them to arrange as best as they can. Get all of them up. Or they will “kill” us with their silent tears. Just now was the open tears, but that’s not the worst. The worst is the silent tears. You know that already.

Do all of you have this? (Yes.) If not, it’s coming. (It’s already here.) Never mind, eat more. It tastes good. (Yes.) Oh, wow! If there is one thing the Taiwanese (Formosan) do good, I told you already, is cooking, and eating, and sharing the same philosophy to whoever’s nearby, whoever comes to them. In this case, they’re generous, and they know how. (Wow!) (Real money!) (It’s a lot of money, Master.) (It’s a lot!) Never mind, enjoy it. Just don’t come again tomorrow. Tomorrow we have other “VIPs.” Please allow me and forgive me. I’m one person. I cannot be with everybody all the time.

I cannot please all of you when it comes to the work. When it comes to the work, even my dog(-people) also have to go behind the scenes. These days I don’t see my dog(-people) because I cannot do everything at the same time. Without dog(-people), it’s easier for me. Without dog(-people), it’s easier for me. I work quicker with the documents. Because if they come around sissy-sassy, then I cannot refuse. It’s my problem. My problem, not their problem. Also, these dog(-people), they are very sensitive. If I kind of ignore them or work too hard and don’t pet them or talk to them, then they begin to be upset. Some are upset quietly – silent tears; some are loud. And some cry like kids. Really! Really!

And if I still ignore them, then they go to the door, the gate, wanting to get out, wanting to go back to their other quarters – showing protest. “We are out of here. We don’t need to be here begging You.” Oh, man, such dog(-people). So sensitive! Because they have two houses; one house is with me, and one is the other quarter, where they’re being fed and taken out if I don’t have time. They’re feeding them there. And then, if I don’t have time, they sleep there. But they have also their quarters with me. So, they just show me that, “We have somewhere to go. Not that we don’t have anywhere to go.” They begin crying at the gate, standing there protesting, wanting to go home to “mama.” Oh, my God. But then, if I come to them and say, “Oh, sorry, man. Come on! OK? We’re friends. I’m just busy, but I love you.” Then they’re OK. Then they forgive me. Then they stay.

Oh, man, nobody knows my dog(-people). What kind of dog(-people) are they, like that? Because the attendants also spoil them very much. Second mother stuff. So, if I am not nice to them, they go to the other woman. Oh, man! Talking of dog(-people) being faithful or what; not always. Because normally, when they’re with me, they never want to go out anywhere. But if I ignore them or sometimes talk a little louder, then they play this game. “I’m going back home.” Home. I thought they were dogs; they are not! They’re like humans. You know what I mean? (Yes.)
