Our first stop today is delightful Formosa, also known as Taiwan. On an island that measures only 338 km (210 miles) by 80 km (50 miles), it is astonishing to find 17 Loving Huts here! On the other hand, if you prefer a leisurely, hearty meal with a large variety of vegetables and vegan proteins, the vegan hotpots at Taipei’s Loving Hut Guangfu fit the bill! Crystal Chu, the owner of Loving Hut Bitan, would like you to visit sometime: “We provide a peaceful and relaxing dining space, where you can just let go and feel at home. The final country on our itinerary is prosperous Korea. One well-loved Loving Hut that specializes in such traditional Korean cuisine is the ten-year-old Loving Hut Ulsan near the southeastern tip of Korea. Less than two miles from Loving Hut Café, we find Loving Hut Gwacheon, popular for its all-you-can-eat vegan buffet.
