Now, I love apples as much as any person, and here is a tip on the various health benefits of eating them. Apples are a vital source of fiber and provide a healthy gut microbiome after it is metabolized by bacteria. Not only do they assist with gut function, they also improve satiety and decrease your appetite for sweets. Additionally, apples contain polyphenols, which help decrease the damage to certain cells, like pancreatic beta cells, assisting in the prevention of diabetes.
