We must also know that in most factory farms and slaughterhouses, the laws are not followed.” Mr. Zografos explains that cruelty in the animal-people-raising industry affects not only the animal-people but also the humans who carry it out. “It’s similar to people who are in war, who repeatedly have traumas, who have to kill. In war it’s people, but in slaughterhouses it’s animals. But you get the same kind of traumas that will stay with you for the rest of your life.”
