I’m on a short vegan snack break between deliveries, and I’d love to share a tip on how you can start your own strawberry garden! Begin by slicing off a thin exterior layer from a few strawberries and place them on a cotton gauze towel to dry. When they are fully dry, use your fingertips to rub the seeds off and sprinkle them evenly across a wide pot of soil. Lightly water the pot every 2-3 days. You will begin to see sprouts after approximately one month and notice your strawberries will begin to bloom after a year. Now you’ll have a supply of fresh sweet, organic berries!
