Do you have a few odd jobs to do around the house or yard? I would like to share with you a neat handyman tip. To prevent damaging plated surfaces when using a slip-joint or other pliers, you can fit small pieces of garden hose or tubing over the jaws of your tool. These pieces act as a cushion, protecting the surface from the gripping edges of your pliers. Simply cut two pieces of hose to fit snugly over the jaws. Once you’re done, you can store the pieces by sliding them onto the handles of the pliers, keeping them ready for their next use.

Let’s grab the amusement headphones and listen to the joke of the day. It’s entitled “Secret Phrase.”

A secret intelligence officer was sent to Ireland to pick up some sensitive information from an undercover agent named Murphy. His instructions were to walk around town using a code phrase until he met his fellow agent. Eventually, he found himself on a desolate country road and ran into a farmer.

“Hallo, I’m looking for a man named Murphy.”

“Well, you’re in luck. My name is Murphy, but if I’m not your guy, we have three more guys named Murphy in this town.”

“Aha,” the agent thought, “I think this is my man.”

So, he said the secret code:

“The sun is shining... the grass is growing... the corn is ready for harvest.”

“Oh, oh, I get it! You’re looking for Murphy, ‘the spy.’ He would be over there in that village. When you find him, please tell him I said, ‘Hallo.’”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Ye-eun in Korea
