In today’s news, displaced communities in Myanmar receive humanitarian assistance from Denmark, United Kingdom pre-print study discovers almost two-thirds of people with Omicron had COVID previously, researchers determine sunlight protects against childhood multiple sclerosis, investment firm builds schools for students in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, Kid Governor in United States pledges to help homeless, Canadian chocolatier turns iconic treat vegan, and feline-person saves ailing sister with blood donation.

Denmark provides humanitarian aid to displaced in Myanmar.

The government of Denmark has donated US$3.8 million to the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), to help with emergency relief operations in Myanmar. The funds will be used to help feed about 360,000 internally displaced people and other vulnerable families in strife-affected areas, including the states of Chin, Kachin, Rakhine, and Shan. The economic distress caused by the pandemic and a new military government taking power last year have increased the need for relief supplies. To ensure vital aid reaches those most in need, WFP is working with communities and other organizations to provide the daily nutritional requirements of the recipients through food baskets containing rice, pulses, oil, and salt. Alternatively, cash is given to buy provisions at local markets. Our heartfelt thanks, Denmark, for your generosity and collaboration with WFP to help so many. May the affected people in Myanmar soon enjoy stability and abundant sustenance in Heaven’s grace.

Pre-print study in England, UK, finds majority with Omicron had COVID-19 in past.

A recent United Kingdom government-funded investigation by Imperial College London analyzed 100,607 test swabs collected across England in early January 2021. The researchers found that almost two-thirds of the people who tested positive for Omicron reported they had been infected, or suspected they had been infected, with COVID-19 in the past. However, the scientists stated that since this was self-reported data, it was “uncertain what proportion… are reinfections or recent infections picked up due to the sensitivity of PCR testing.” The results appear to highlight the extent to which the virus can evade prior immunity. The research also found that 99% of the people who tested positive had the Omicron strain, demonstrating how it has largely replaced all previous variants. Our appreciation, Imperial College London, for your concerning study. In the wisdom of the Divine, may each individual immediately repent past misdeeds, sincerely pray for forgiveness, and create a loving vegan world, so as to ensure a future of peace and survival. “Most human beings are sinners, but the animals are innocent. Surely those without sin should receive the most kindness and love.” ~ The Writings of 'Abdu’l-Bahá (vegetarian) (Baháʼí Faith)

Up next on Noteworthy News, researchers determine sunlight protects against childhood multiple sclerosis. Let’s spend a moment to thank the skilled guitar luthiers who construct and repair guitars. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more beneficial news.

Hallo, nice friends, I’m Whitney, a vegan girl from the Cuckoo Wasp kingdom! When I woke up today, I felt again so grateful for the beautiful vegan lifestyle. It truly opens our hearts and lets us rejoice with all creation. I’d like to share a safety tip with you. Many people sell their old, unneeded smartphones on marketplaces such as eBay, but studies demonstrate that some don’t erase the data on their used phone before they hand it over. This means it can still contain a great deal of private information. Therefore, you should always wipe all data from a device when you sell or recycle it by performing a factory reset. For Android phones, you should encrypt the data first, then perform the reset. Trust me, you will enjoy greater peace of mind if know your personal info is safe. Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Thank you for watching. And now, the weather around the world.

Researchers find sun exposure protects against multiple sclerosis in children.

Scientists from the University of California, San Francisco in the United States, and the Australian National University in Australia, recently discovered that sun exposure in children and young adults helps to protect them from multiple sclerosis (MS). Data from two groups of youth, one with MS and one without, was gathered regarding how much sun they received outdoors. It was found that those who spent more than 30 minutes to one hour in sunlight daily were 52% less likely to develop the disease than those exposed to the sun for less than half an hour per day. It was also noted that living in an area with a higher intensity of sunlight was linked with lower incidence of pediatric MS. Thank you, researchers, for helping to confirm another benefit of natural sunlight on health. We pray that humanity always remembers the healing powers of nature, in the Blessings of God.

Investment company builds schools in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam.

The Trungnam Group, an investment firm in Âu Lạc (Vietnam), has contributed more than US$4 million to erect a new secondary school in Bến Tre city. The recently completed facility includes 20 classrooms and 39 functional rooms and will benefit around 900 students. In addition, the firm will continue to give academic scholarships to underprivileged youth over the next 10 years as well as donate 371 tablets to support online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and supply backpacks to be used for school. The caring enterprise has already built five schools in various cities at a cost of US$17.6 million that serve 5,000 students. Our commendations and praises, the Trungnam Group, for your foresight and care. May all children always be provided with excellent learning opportunities and lots of love, in Buddha’s immense kindness.

Kid Governor in United States to address homelessness.

Charlotte Cotti, from Pollard Elementary School, was elected by her fifth-grade peers statewide to be the 2022 Kid Governor of New Hampshire, United States. Charlotte’s key goal during her one-year term is to address homelessness across the state, starting with having direct communication with those who have been affected. She also plans to have toy and sock drives, as well as collect basic necessities such as toothpaste, shampoo, hand sanitizer and more to distribute to people in need. The young governor stated in her campaign: “If we can change poverty and homelessness, we can change lives.” Created by the nonprofit Connecticut Democracy Center, the Kid Governor program gives fifth graders the opportunity to address important community issues and helps them to develop leadership qualities. Congratulations and best wishes, Charlotte Cotti. We’re looking forward to a great year with remarkable achievements under your governance, in the brilliance of the Providence. Vegan: tested positive 4 a very, very generous heart.

Blood transfusion from cat-person saves her sister’s life in Turkey.

Caregiver Fatiye Kibar rushed feline-person Nazli to the veterinary hospital after she had started bleeding internally. Despite the late hour, Dr. Burak Antakyalioglu admitted her and told Ms. Kibar that the cat-person urgently needed a blood transfusion. Ms. Kibar rushed home to fetch feline-sister Cakil, who has a blood type matching Nazli’s. It was Dr. Antakyalioglu’s first time to conduct a blood transfusion between cat-people, and fortunately, it was successfully accomplished, followed by necessary uterus removal surgery for Nazli. The key to the successful transfusion was exemplified by both cat-sisters remaining calm and collected throughout the procedure. Many thanks, Dr. Burak Antakyalioglu and Cakil, for saving precious Nazli. Fatiye Kibar, may you and your darling feline companions Nazli and Cakil have many more joyous years together ahead, in Allah’s loving Shelter.

Now it’s time to open the laughter window and let some joy rays into our day with the joke we have chosen, entitled “Nighttime Prayer.”

Little Cindy was doing her prayers right before bed. But this time, she was a bit louder than usual...

“Dear, God, please give me the toy which I saw today in the shop for my birthday! You know, the huge pink unicorn...? Please!”

“Hey, Cindy! Can you do your prayers more quietly, please? God is not deaf!”

“I’m just afraid that Mama can’t hear me, Railey...”

!?

And now we have a heartline from Declan in Canada:

Dearest Master, I am in awe of You. You change and open minds and hearts with Your every thought. Thank You for protecting the children and speaking for them. I shake in disbelief at what humans allow to be done to our precious innocents. May all abuse end now, forever. May life be held sacred. Thank You for illuminating the world of politics. May this world’s system change profoundly. May the political arena be lifted to a place of noble service to all beings. Thank You for caring so very much about everything, about us, all Earthlings, and our plight. You are the best of us, without a doubt. I wish all will listen to You and see and follow the Light You ignite in all who do. Master, I wish I could share my dream experience with You. The end result was this: My chest filled with Love. I wanted to live, I knew my purpose, just to be with Her, I knew my place. I could breathe. I am in Love, a forever Love. I awoke breathing deeply, like I hadn’t breathed for years. I know I am not worthy of Your Love. Yet, I cannot but long for It. You are all to me. Oh Master, my Heart. If ever I can be of service to You, of use to You, may Heaven let it be. Yours forever, Declan from Canada

Respectful Declan, Thank you for your expression of love and deep appreciation for Supreme Master Ching Hai and Her eternal self-sacrifice for all living beings.

Master has this reply for you: “Trusting Declan, I am with you always and am delighted to read of your profound experience of God’s eternal Love. Together always, I send you a big hug. Love can heal the world, and I pray that you and the fortunate Canadian people may forever live in peace and abundance, blessed by the Divine.”
