In today’s news, Japan provides humanitarian aid to Zimbabwe, airlines stop serving alcohol amid pandemic, European Union implements new tire labels to reduce emissions, United States authorizes mega solar power plant, fireman saves cat’s life in Russia, vegan meat company goes public on Canadian stock exchange, and endangered turtles benefit from empty beaches in Thailand.

Japan provides vital food aid to Zimbabwe.

The Japanese government has donated US$450,000 to Zimbabwe via the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) to assist communities in four districts heavily impacted by recent floods and drought. The aid will allow 95,000 children to be screened for malnutrition and 3,400 youngsters to be treated. Also, 6,700 expectant and new mothers will be trained on safe food preparation, and interventions will be provided in the areas of HIV/AIDS support for vulnerable citizens and access to water, sanitation and hygiene for children. Japan is a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Animal Protection and Generosity laureate. Our sincere gratitude, Japan and UNICEF, for your kind assistance. May Heaven bless the fine people of Zimbabwe to thrive in abundance and happiness.

Airlines prohibit alcohol on planes.

Many airlines around the world have now prohibited, or greatly restricted, the sale and consumption of alcohol in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. This move will help to limit contact between the passengers and staff, improve people’s behavior, and limit the amount of time that people are not wearing a mask. Currently, masks are mandatory on most flights, except when people are eating or drinking. Limiting alcohol consumption on flights will also help passengers to stay hydrated and thus reduce jet lag. Thank you, global airline companies, for your responsible actions to ensure that the health of your passengers is protected. We pray that soon all harmful substances will be prohibited everywhere as we honor and care for our physical, mental and spiritual bodies, in God’s grace.

Up next, European Union implements new tire labels to reduce emissions. We’ll take a little time to thank the silverware artisans, who create the beautiful utensils we use daily at the table. Will return with more enriching news after this message here on Supreme Master Television.

Hallo, Earth-loving friends, it’s Mei-Lien the vegan Milu Deer. Life is so precious, I’m sure you agree. So celebrate life with me and be vegan! Here is a tip on how to prevent yourself from accidentally sending an incomplete email. Sometimes emails can get sent by pressing the wrong key on your keyboard. By leaving the “to” field empty until you are done, you won’t have to worry about sending an incomplete email to your coworkers or boss. If you’re replying to an email and the recipient’s email address is already filled, you can add an extra character to the end of the email address, and delete this character right before you send your message. Thank you for tuning in. Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. And now, the worldwide weather.

European Union adopts new tire labeling to reduce emissions.

The EU recently approved a new vehicle tire labeling procedure that will help people purchase more fuel-efficient models. The label will contain wet grip, noise and fuel efficiency readings, similar to energy-efficiency labelings currently used for home appliances. There are also plans for other information to be available in the future, such as the tires’ life expectancy and abrasion. It is estimated that this system will save ten million metric tons of CO2 annually as well as €2.8 billion in savings for consumers. The European Union is a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace recipient and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional World Care and True Caring laureate. Way to go, European Union, on your conscientious steps to ensure that all people can make greener decisions when purchasing car tires. May your actions like this one help to further protect our precious planet, in Divine radiance.

United States, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate, approves historic solar energy plant.

The US government has approved the Gemini Solar Project, situated near Las Vegas in the country’s sunny state of Nevada. The estimated US$1 billion facility will be the largest initiative of its kind in the country’s history, and among the top ten largest in the world. Scheduled to be completed in 2022, the project will generate enough electricity to power 260,000 homes while preventing 384,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions. Moreover, up to 1,100 jobs will be created and US$3 million in revenue will be generated annually. The facility awaits the agreement of local Native American tribes before proceeding, and during construction, dozens of desert tortoises will be taken to a conservation area until they can be safely returned. Bravo, United States! May you continue advancing towards a sustainably prosperous future, in God’s infinite love.

Russian fireman resuscitates cat.

Firefighter Andrey Meister saved the life of a cat who was rescued from a burning building in the city of Tver, approximately 160 kilometers northeast of Moscow, Russia. The feline was unconscious due to the smoke when she was found, but Mr. Meister washed her face in water and lovingly gave her oxygen. Seven minutes later, she regained consciousness. Fortunately, all 35 human residents of the building and a dog were also rescued thanks to the 19 firetrucks and personnel present at the historic site. Heaven’s blessings, Andrey Meister and all fire personnel involved, for your heroic operation valuing every life. May all those you saved, human and animal, be well and recover soon. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Thankfully present the Shining World Loving Hero Award to Andrey Meister, with all love, high praises and gratitude, in God’s mercy. May Heaven shield and bless you abundantly.”

Coming up, vegan meat company goes public on Canadian stock exchange. We’ll try for a moment to transcend our at-times limiting thoughts by pondering the vastness of the universe. Supreme Master Television will return in just a moment with more hopeful news. Welcome back to Noteworthy News - Delightful News for a Charming World.

Canadian vegan meat company lists on stock market.

The Very Good Food Company Inc., which produces its own plant-based line, The Very Good Butchers (VGB), recently listed on the Canadian stock market with great success, becoming the second plant-based company in the world to go public. VGB has a range of nutritious products including plant-based burgers, sausages, steaks, pepperoni and more. Amid “overwhelming demand” related to the COVID-19 pandemic turning consumers away from animal products, the company plans to use net proceeds to expand production and develop new quality vegan products. Congratulations, The Very Good Food Company and The Very Good Butchers. In Celestial light, may more enterprises follow your lead in providing delicious plant-based foods to the world.

Wildlife enjoy empty beaches in Thailand.

The COVID-19 lockdown in Thailand has had a beneficial effect on vulnerable local species, who have been returning to now-quiet areas that had previously been occupied by beachgoing tourists. Marine animals have especially been thriving, with pink dugongs being seen near Ban Phe, and endangered green turtles laying eggs for the first time in six years at Koh Samui. Similarly, rare leatherback turtles recently have laid the most eggs since recording began eight years ago, with over 300 hatching and returning to the sea compared to about 100 last year. Thailand’s Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation is looking to continue the hopeful trend by closing parks to human visitors for two to three months a year, thus allowing nature to rest. We are joyous to hear of the return of your sweet animal residents, Thailand. We pray to the Buddhas that they will continue to be safeguarded and that more species globally will also have a chance to rebound.

Let’s “destress” ourselves with a joke of the day entitled “One Wish.”

Alice found a magical lamp. She rubbed it and a genie popped out.

“Do I get three wishes?”

“Nope, I’m a one-wish genie. What will it be?”

“See this map? I want these countries to stop fighting so we can have world peace.”

“They’ve been at war for thousands of years. I’m not that good. What else do you have?”

“Well, I’d love a good man. One who is considerate, loves kids, likes to cook, and doesn’t watch sports all day.”

“Okay. Let me see that map again.”

And now we have a heartline from Munkhsoyol Bayardalai in Taiwan, also known as Formosa:

Hallo, blessed people! I want to give thanks for Master’s unconditional Ocean of Love. I know Master has been taking care of me since I was a child. I have really experienced that there is no one who we can rely on, who we can trust. No friends, no lovers can be true like Master’s love. Whatever I do, Master always accepts me the way I am. The never changing and unconditional love of Master makes me feel so relieved. You made me believe more in God, Master. Thank You for bringing us God’s love. And thank You for teaching us how to be the children of God. May all the souls go back home where we originally belong! Munkhsoyol Bayardalai in Taiwan (Formosa)

Dearest Munkhsoyol, Thank you for writing of your heartfelt sentiments and experience and sharing your understanding that reminds those of us who know Supreme Master Ching Hai of our deep gratitude and love. Your words sing of truth and the blessings we receive. Divine Love to you and green Taiwan (Formosa), Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master says: “Trusting Munkhsoyol, wonderful kids like you bring me such joy. Please keep practicing diligently to continue progressing on the spiritual path. God’s eternal light to you and the honorable people of Taiwan (Formosa).”
