Guru Nanak guided people of all backgrounds and religions to enlightenment through Heavenly Light and Sound. His teachings had three basic rules: meditate, earn an honest living, and share earnings with the less fortunate and good causes. All humans are equal in the eyes of God, regardless of religion, color, profession, or gender. Guru Nanak was also a strong advocate of vegetarianism. To realizing God is not in renouncing the world or becoming an ascetic, but is in leading a selfless life. Keep your heart and mind filled with devotion to God, and dedicate your life to the service of God and all of God’s creation.
