On Wednesday, March 24, 2024 the long-awaited documentary, “Christspiracy: The Spirituality Secret,” premiered in cinemas across major cities worldwide. Directed by directors Kip Andersen and Kameron Waters (both vegans), the film has sparked global conversations.

Kameron posted two thought-provoking questions: “Is there a spiritual way to kill an animal?” and “How would Jesus kill an animal?” Unlike Kip, who is a yogi practitioner with little knowledge of religion, Kameron comes from a devout Christian family. As a gospel musician, his background included hunting and helping his family-owned barbecue restaurant. However, his perspective began to shift during the Daniel Fast, a 21-day period of fasting on plant sources and prayer, which led him to question his own beliefs – particularly about diet.

Fueled by their shared curiosity, Kip and Kameron embarked on a seven-year journey to create this groundbreaking documentary. The film examines the relationship between humans and animals, tracing it from prehistory to the present. Their research spanned topics like the sacredness of animal-people, domestication, sacrificial practices in temples, and the evolution of animal folks into commodities – a system many consider to be humanity’s cruelest creation. To uncover the missing pieces, Kip and Kameron traveled extensively, visiting places like Rome, Italy; Jerusalem, Israel; Oxford, UK; India; and the United States. They interviewed theologians, archaeologists, religious leaders, scholars, Christian farmers, and animal-people rights activists to gather diverse perspectives.

The film is described as controversial, eye-opening, and mind-blowing. It dives into a censored history of Christ’s teachings and exposes how sacred scriptures were mistranslated or manipulated by powerful authorities of the time to shape modern beliefs. After finding out the truth about the true teachings of Lord Jesus Christ (vegetarian), Kip and Kam explored other major religions.
