The Spiritual Meaning of Moon Festival

Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the major holidays in Asia. It usually occurs in late September to the early October, on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar, when there is a full moon at night. It is said that the moon on this day is the roundest and brightest, which symbolizes family reunion. The moon has various spiritual meanings. For some religions, the full moon is powerful.
