Here is a cooking tip for you. Vegan baked cheese baguette topped with tomato and basil is a simple yet delicious appetizer that will leave your guests craving for more. You will need one sourdough baguette, 450 grams of vegan cheese, 20 cherry or grape tomatoes, and one package of basil leaves. Begin by cutting the bread into a little over half a centimeter slices. Then, spread approximately one tablespoon or fifteen grams of vegan cheese on top. Set the baguette onto a wire or baking rack. Broil the bread in the oven for two to three minutes at a low setting, just until the vegan cheese starts to bubble. Take it out of the oven and separate your washed basil into single leaves. Slice the washed cherry tomatoes in half and place one basil leaf over the vegan cheese and a tomato on top of that. Lastly, season it with sea or kosher salt.
