Details

The vehicle is powered by an electric motor which is embedded in the rear rim. The rims, airless tires, seat and frame are 3D printed. The electrical components incorporated into the motorcycle are the only parts that are not 3D printed. With no need for air, the tires remove the issue of tire punctures that riders of conventional motorcycles face. This bike and our other prototypes push the limits of engineering creativity and will reshape [additive manufacturing] technology as we know it.
