Today I would like to share a home health tip with you. A natural way to remove indoor odors and repel insects, especially mosquitoes, is by using ingredients like wormwood, soapberry pods, lime leaves, and pomelo peel, either sun-dried or fresh. Simply cut and crush them into small pieces and place them in a pot that is not used for cooking. For extra effect, add cloves for their strong aroma and insect-repelling quality, and stir this with a few drops of oil. Light the mixture so it produces smoke, and place it in areas where mosquitoes may normally enter the house such as doors and windows. The fragrant smoke helps drive mosquitoes away while leaving a refreshing natural scent in your home. You can also use this outside in the garden or patio area if you are in these places in the evening time when mosquitoes are coming out. This safe, non-toxic method is a healthier alternative to incense or chemical repellents, though it’s best not to burn it near children due to the heavy smoke. This method is also believed to carry the symbolic meaning of clearing away bad luck.
