In today’s news, Qatari charitable groups deliver free eye care to Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. Study warns Germany faces high water stress, Indian scientist invents unique and affordable air purifier, Costa Rican recycling program transforms more than 1,600 tons of used drink containers into useful new materials, vegan Olympic gold medalist adds bulk and power for 2028 Games, US vegan meat company expands protein offerings, and egret-people reveal clues to health of Botswana’s wetland.

Today I’d like to offer a simple tip for better health. Magnesium is an essential mineral that supports many important functions in the body, including muscle and nerve function, energy production, healthy bones and blood sugar regulation. Many adults do not get enough, with recommended daily amounts ranging from about 310–420 mg depending on age and sex. Low magnesium can contribute to fatigue, muscle cramps and, in more severe deficiency, abnormal heart rhythms. Some health conditions and medications can reduce magnesium absorption or increase magnesium losses, and supplements may sometimes be needed to correct a deficiency under medical guidance. A practical approach is to include magnesium-rich foods, such as leafy greens, nuts, seeds, beans, whole grains, avocados and bananas in your daily diet. These whole foods also provide many other nutrients that work together to support good health, rather than relying on a supplement containing a single nutrient.

Now, it’s time to zoom into some hilarity as the joke entitled, “The Future Billionaire,” is already in our vicinity.

An elementary school teacher asked her students to draw what they wanted to be when they grew up. When she reached Diego, she found a detailed picture of a man relaxing behind a huge desk while employees worked around him.

“Does this mean you want to run a company?”

“No, ma’am. I want to be a billionaire.”

“That’s a goal, not a job. How do you plan to become one?”

“By hiring talented people to do the work for me.”

“And you really think that will work?”

“My plan works already. I paid the kid next to me one vegan cookie to draw this picture.”

?!

And now we have a heartline in Aulacese (Vietnamese), with multiple-language subtitles, from Nhật Nam in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam
