Would you like to discover cost-effective and holistic ways to improve the health of your favorite animal-person? Let’s check out our first apple cider vinegar natural remedy, a flea and tick repellant for your dog- or cat-person! Mary Futher, known by her social media handle @MadameSweat, shares more: Here’s how to naturally repel ticks. “So let’s talk about how to dilute it, so it’s one part water to one part apple cider vinegar. Really focus on the ears, neck, and the legs.” Just like you, we animal-persons sometimes suffer from allergies. Whether it is itchy, flaky skin, dull coats, or skin odors, apple cider vinegar may provide some relief.

Does your dog-person suffer from bad breath? Here are a few home remedies to help remove harmful bacteria from your animal companion’s mouth. The first is homemade toothpaste! Mix three tablespoons of baking soda with a one-fourth cup of organic coconut oil. For those animal companions who are not fond of getting their teeth brushed, Dr. Andrew Jones is back with another apple cider vinegar-based home remedy to help cure some of their harmful mouth bacteria. “Blend the mint, the coconut, and the apple cider vinegar well. Then give your dog a quarter of a teaspoon twice a day, seeing if he or she is going to consume that apple cider vinegar.”

It is estimated that up to 75% of dog-people and 25% of cat-folks suffer from anxiety-related issues at some point in their lives. The first is exercise! Studies have shown classical music to have a calming effect for both dog- and cat-individuals. Veterinarian Dr. Courtney Campbell shares our final anxiety-reducing natural remedy. “There’s a specific method of touch that some believe can help, including t-touch. This is a massage technique based on circular movement of your fingers and hands all over the body. Regardless of the specific method you use, touch can have a powerful impact on mood, movement, reduce pain, and improve lymphatic drainage.”
